The Huskies announced the non-conference schedule for the 2009-2010 season on Monday. A lot of excitement will be coming to Matthews Arena, with Big East opponent Providence, a 2009 NCAA Tournament team Utah State, and a ESPNU BracketBuster game in February all on the home schedule for Northeastern this year. First up for the Huskies will be a trip to Siena to take on the Saints on Novemeber 17th. This game has been rumored to be a part of ESPN's "24 Hours of Hoops", which is a marathon of college games to celebrate the start of the season. However this has not been confirmed.
