Former Huskies forward Eugene Spates has brought the Dallas heat to Luxembourg. Spates has been playing his first professional season in Luxembourg this year for BC Mess and has been thriving. Adjusting to basketball in Europe hasn't been hard for Spates, who has scored 21,33,23, and 39 points in each of his respective games. Another change for Spates has been his number. Huskies fans were used to seeing #24 shooting from downtown, but now he is wearing #15. There was no rhyme or reason to the number, Spates took it simply because it was the biggest jersey they had.
