Today I received a message from former Huskies forward Eugene Spates. For those of you who don't know, Spates is playing professionally in Luxembourg for BC Mess. Spates sent me a write up from a team source about the recent games played. "11.09.09 - Results of the weekend- In addition to excellent performance Saturday night in 2 of our National Men A, Win 74-73 With 33 points from our friend Eugene "Usch "Spates (including 5 to 3 pointers) and a very nice performance of any team against the strong Basket Esch's "3 professionals" and favorite of the Nat.2. BC Mess is 4-1, 3 way tie for 1st place. but BC Mess is on top. 5 Games, Eugene Spates is avg. 29.4 pts".
